Abstract

O presente artigo é fruto dos resultados alcançados a partir de um dos objetivos propostos em pesquisa que versou sobre a temática das Comidas de Rua comercializadas em uma importante feira dominical em Porto Alegre, RS. Tal feira reúne, sobretudo, a venda de artesanatos e antiguidades, junto a um dos parques centrais da cidade. O objetivo consistia em trazer à tona, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, aplicadas a cinco comerciantes de alimentos no local, as concepções e práticas atreladas à atividade do comércio de Comidas de Rua. Nota-se que há uma fidelização dos locais de aquisição de insumos, vinculada à manutenção do sabor do alimento comercializado; o gênero feminino aparece como maioria entre os comerciantes, talvez por isso a atividade ainda seja majoritariamente familiar; o saber-fazer, em suma, foi aprendido por meio dos ensinamentos de sujeitos que já comercializavam determinado alimento; por fim, nota-se que um dos fatores que oneram a atividade é o pagamento de terceiros para montagem e/ou guarda dos equipamentos.
