The popular feasts constitute an important and attractive scenario of the culture. Many popular feasts, in different regions of Brazil, have developed into elaborate, complex and sometimes luxurious performances. Such feasts assume the friendly acceptance of the “other” and therefore, a collective expansivity. In these feasts the donation of space is completed with self-donation, thus establishing a reciprocity dynamics.The Boi-Bumbá feast in the city of Parintins as well as the Cavalhada in Pirenópolis are examples of popular feasts carried out through a structured organization of activities.Dispite the various influences, the reason for such strengthening might explain the positive aspects of this articulation feasts, acceptance/togetherness.
